Jeff & Manuela's New Years Eve Party: This was a lot of fun. Manuels had a whole lot of finger
foods, snacks and Goodies.
The guests were Manuelas mom & dad, Brian & Toka, Mr. & Mrs. John Mathews, JD and
Berta, Berta's brother Dick and Jeff r. It was family celebration and the kids were there too.
Two mini Jams took place the early one had the Three J's playing some of their rehearsed stuff (Jazzy Thing, 3X7, Stormy Monday and
Walkin' Blues)After these tunes Brian brought out his new Xmas Strat and joined in.
Brian and his new Strat sounded great!
Things got a little adventurous when Toka threw out some requests. the 1st one was Honey Don't. After everybody re
tuned it did not sound bad even though we don't ever practice it. Well no sooner did we make it through than the next
off the wall request came....what the heck Folsom Prison Blues was attempted and sounded like we had practiced
it....cool we got lucky on that one. Brian & Toka left to hit yet another party.
After the clock past mid night and all the Fire works were done a 2nd jam feature the Rolling Stones Tunes: The last time, It's all over now, Dead Flowers and
Round and Round with JD officially making it the 4 J's. The 2nd mini set was pretty tight and a whole lot of fun.
Once again it was a fine family part and a big thank you goes out to Jeff & Manuela!
